CCTB Ranked in Chambers USA 2019

Copeland, Cook, Taylor & Bush has been recognized in three categories in the Chambers USA 2019 guide published by Chambers & Partners.

CCTB’s Oil & Gas team continues to be ranked in “Band 1,” the highest ranking, in the Energy & Natural Resources category. Chambers specifically noted that Glen Bush is “widely recognized as a market leader for energy-related matters,” and that Glenn Taylor is recognized by his peers a “strong lawyer in this practice area” with “many years’ experience.”

CCTB’s Insurance and Litigation teams also were ranked in Chambers’s Litigation: General Commercial category and recognized for their “visible presence in the insurance litigation market,” frequent involvement in “significant insurance defense cases in Mississippi,” and “its bench of experienced trial lawyers.” Chambers editors especially identified Greg Copeland as “highly regarded for insurance cases” who is described by peers as “a great guy” who is “very experienced” and “one of the better lawyers around.”

Chambers also ranked the firm in the Corporate/Commercial category, and praised the firm for its “comprehensive bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice, leveraging the firm’s broader strengths in litigation.” Peers further commended CCTB as being “very well regarded in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights,” and “a good firm” that “does good loan closing work for the banks here in Mississippi.”
