Copeland Cook is pleased to announce that Ryan Perkins, a shareholder in the firm’s Ridgeland office, has been selected by the Mississippi Business Journal as one of the 2016 Leaders in Law.  Leaders in Law are selected based on professional abilities and success, professional recognition, level of influence, community involvement and character.

Ryan Perkins has practiced law for over fifteen years in the area of civil defense litigation, including premises liability, premises security liability, construction defect litigation, employment and automobile negligence. He has authored various practice-related publications and has served on the speaking faculty at various litigation and construction seminars throughout the state.

Ryan is AV “Preeminent” Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and practices in all Mississippi and Tennessee state and federal courts. He was selected in 2016 by Best Lawyers in America as an honoree in its Insurance Litigation category. He was also named a Mid-South Super Lawyer in Civil Litigation Defense from 2013-2016 and a Mid-South Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2011-2012 in Civil Litigation Defense. Ryan was also featured by the Mississippi Business Journal in 2012 as a Top 40 Under 40 Business Leader.
