CCTB Attorneys Volunteer in Moot Court Competition

Mississippi College School of Law recently concluded the 2025 Copeland, Cook, Taylor & Bush Moot Court Competition, for which CCTB attorneys Bill Whitfield and Ken Davis volunteered as judges for the preliminary rounds, and CCTB attorney Ian Austin judged the championship round, alongside former Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Justice Randy Pierce, current Supreme Court Justice David Sullivan, and Hinds County Chancery Court Judge Tiffany Grove. For over 20 years, CCTB has sponsored this competition that provides an invaluable opportunity for second-year law students to showcase their legal research and writing abilities and to hone their oral advocacy skills. The competition also serves as a springboard for students to compete in state and national trial appellate advocacy programs through MC Law’s Moot Court Board.
